User Experience, or UX for short, is the term used to describe a user's experience of a product, service, environment or institution. The term is most often used in the context of software or IT systems, such as the design of websites or applications. The user experience is one of the key success factors for digital concepts: The user experience determines whether and how long a user stays with an application. In addition to usability, aesthetic and emotional aspects are also taken into account. It is an evaluative feeling that arises during an interaction and can be positive or negative. It is determined by means of questionnaires or tests. The criteria for a positive user experience vary from product to product.
