Hotel Amo by AMANO I Berlin
Hotel AMO by AMANO combines urban design with Berlin authenticity. A unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort makes it a true highlight in the German capital.
Israeli Cuisine in the Heart of the Capital
It is already the seventh hotel of the Berlin-based AMANO Group, which has a completely independent concept with an individual character. In addition to the current hotels and restaurants in Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf, further projects are planned in Germany and London.
About the Hotel Amo in the German capital: Through the glass pavilion in the courtyard of the centrally located Friedrichstraße 113, you reach an elevator that leads to the basement of the old Berlin building. There you'll find the reception and a windowless bar. The in-house restaurant offers creative Israeli cuisine, conceived by brothers David and James Ardinast in collaboration with top chef Yossi Elad and the AMANO Group.
The high-ceilinged spaces of the 93 rooms, spread over six floors, are flooded with natural light. Stylistically, the furnishings are based on Art Deco and industrial design, and the color scheme of dark green, blue and petrol with copper accents is a defining feature. ST Design is responsible for the interior design. The overall architectural concept was developed by Tchoban Voss.

Inspired by New York With a New Party Concept
Principals Ariel Schiff and Phillip Rokeach were inspired by the Apple Store in New York. It too is underground. So is the award-winning restaurant einsunternull, just 250 meters from Hotel Amo. The aim of the new Hotel Amo is to attract visitors with its special concept and to re-establish the address of the former restaurant "Rocco & Sanny" as a hip address in Berlin's party scene.
"We are happy to be able to offer our Berlin guests and international visitors a location at one of the most central and well-known addresses in Berlin," said the managing directors.
