ADDITIVE Cares: A Shared Breakfast on Equal Footing at dormizil
For the second year in a row, ten employees actively supported the Bolzano night shelter "dormizil" during breakfast service, helping to provide homeless people with a dignified start to the day.
Following the successful kickoff in 2025, the ADDITIVE team set another strong example of solidarity in March 2026. The focus was not only on providing food, but above all on personal interaction and exchange on equal footing.

As a company, ADDITIVE not only takes a leading role in the technological sector but also takes responsibility for the society in which we live and work. With ADDITIVE Cares, we support projects where help is most urgently needed.
In addition to initiatives such as the association for children with cancer “Peter Pan” and the “Wünschewagen” (“Wish Car”) of the White Cross, the commitment to dormizil Bolzano has now become a firmly established tradition.
Supporting dormizil: Giving Time and Empathy
The dormizil in Bolzano offers homeless people a warm place to stay for the night - as an estimated 100 people spend the winter on the streets in Bolzano, South Tyrol, alone.
Instead of providing support solely through monetary donations, the ADDITIVE team has chosen to volunteer their time. After 18 employees had already taken over the service for two weeks in 2025, another ten team members volunteered again in March 2026 for five mornings. From 6:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., they managed the breakfast shift, prepared meals, and helped the guests start their day.

Encounters at Eye Level in the Night Shelter
Breakfast service, as well as night shifts, are carried out alternately by a group of volunteers. The dormizil is operated by the association “dormizil EO”. With the opening of the “Ulli Lerchbaumer” facility in September 2025, the goal of providing long-term housing has already been successfully achieved: Eight apartments based on the “Housing First” principle, as well as the open community space dormiHUB, are now available there.
